David Hobson, one of Australia’s favourite singers and performers, will take to the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall stage in a major new concert experience to celebrate the release of his new CD A Little Closer.  Renowned for his Opera Australia performances in productions ranging from Baz Luhrmann’s la Boheme to The Pirates of Penzance, Channel Seven's Dancing With The Stars and It Takes Two, and with his smash-hit Aria-topping last CD The Promise , David Hobson is Australia's most-loved tenor.

In a lavish concert production, David will be backed by a full orchestra and his own band with musical direction from Chong Lim (Dancing with the Stars, It Takes Two, John Farnham) and staging design by Tony Assness (Sydney Dance Company's 360°). David Hobson in Concert - A Little Closer will showcase a great Australian talent at the height of his singing powers performing a stellar array of hits from David's stage career and best-selling CDs in the fabulous Sydney Opera House Concert Hall.

David will perform songs from his new CD including Wicked Game, Have I Told You Lately, Without You and Nights in White Satin -  plus favourite songs from throughout his outstanding career including Nella fantasia and Impossible Dream.
