Terms and Conditions
Preferred Seating is a ticketing agency only for the sale of tickets for theatre, promotions, live shows and other events.
Use of this site is subject to the following terms and conditions:
BOOKING
- All prices quoted are in Australian dollars and include GST.
- Online bookings and registrations with Events Waitlist® are available to Australian and New Zealand residents only.
- All bookings are subject to availability.
- Dates, times, prices and other event information are correct at the time of the last update, and are subject to change.
- Once a booking is confirmed, no cancellations, refunds or exchanges are available except in accordance with the Entertainment Code of Practice. If an event itself is cancelled, you will receive a full refund.
- Unless the purchaser opts out of Preferred Seating member communications, a purchase with Preferred Seating constitutes a new Membership including regular communications. There is the opportunity to unsubscribe in each communication.
- With Advance Access and Last Minute category tickets, the quality of seating locations within the selected seating category cannot be guaranteed.
- No credit is available and all bookings will be charged and paid for at the time of booking by way of charge to the customers nominated Credit Card.
- No guarantee is given or implied for the provision of tickets to any performance show or function.
- All tickets are issued and sold subject to the terms and conditions imposed by the producer or promoter of any function or event.
- Preferred Seating is not liable or responsible for any loss or damage suffered howsoever or whatever arising from the provision of tickets.
- Preferred Seating has no liability in respect of any cancellation, variation or postponement of an event caused by the producer or promoter of that event.
- On some occasions events may be covered by restricted conditions of sale. These conditions generally will be published by the promoter of the event and are binding.
- Preferred Seating is not liable or responsible in the event that a promoter varies withdraws or substitutes artists and/or the advertised program.
- Any liability of Preferred Seating in relation to a breach of any condition or warranty herein to the extent permitted by law is limited to a refund of the cost to the customers of the ticket. Preferred Seating has no liability for special indirect or consequential damages of any kind.
EVENTS WAITLIST
- Events Waitlist registrations do not constitute a booking and are valid for 12 months, after which time you will need to re-register. In very few instances where demand for tickets exceeds supply we may not be able to satisfy all requests. Therefore it is important that you waitlist early, re-register and update your contact information every 12 months. If tickets become available we will endeavour to contact you to make a booking should you wish to proceed.
- Events Waitlist registrations are only available to Preferred Seating members. Unless the waitlisting email address is opted out of Preferred Seating webletter communications, a waitlist constitutes registration for these communications.

This copyright, the trademarks and any other intellectual property rights belonging to third parties appearing in or arising from this website (together, the Intellectual Property) may not be used, copied or reproduced any way without authorisation from the relevant owner. No licence is granted in respect of any use of any of the Intellectual Property. Unauthorised use of the Intellectual Property and of this website is strictly prohibited.
- The user agrees to indemnify Preferred Seating for any losses that it may suffer or claims it may be exposed to as a result of unauthorised use of any Intellectual Property or any other information appearing on this website (which includes any such use by non-Australian residents).
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
- Access to this website and use of any information contained on it, including the use of a credit card or other debit device, or creation of any liability or obligation in connection with the access to or use of the website is at the user's sole risk. You hereby waive all claims against Preferred Seating that may arise out of use of this website (however caused, including negligence). In no event will Preferred Seating be liable to you or to any third party for any injury, loss, claim, damage, or any incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost profits or savings, arising out of or in any way connected with the use of this website.
- We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology to securely transmit your personal information, including your credit card number, over the Internet. By using this technology, it is our intention to protect your personal information, however we cannot guarantee SSL provides 100% security. Therefore, please be aware that information you submit is at your own risk. See our Privacy and Security policy for further details.
LAW
- These Terms and Conditions (including the Privacy and Security policy) and your use of the Preferred Seating website will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, and you hereby submit to the jurisdiction of the Australian courts.
- Pinpoint Pty Ltd ACN 002 693 656, trading as Preferred Seating, reserves the right to amend or change all or any part of the above
terms and conditions.
